Art Show

An early start

Last night was the Artist’s Preview Night at the 2013 Downlands College Art Exhibition, and what a show it is this year. A fellow artist and I talked long over coffee and chai, then I came home and painted until almost midnight and started again in the dark this morning. The sunrise lit the laundry window as I worked, and gradually the daylight has taken over from the daylight fluoro bulb in the studio. The brushes have been cleaned, canvases are propped up to dry and the paints tidied. Time now to get ready for my part-time day job. Should have taken a photo of the sunrise as the paintings aren’t ready to show.
